أقامت مجموعة الأدب والفن الياباني التابعة لمبادرة القراءة البحرينيون - وهي مبادرة ثقافية تطوعية تهدف لتشجيع القراءة في المجتمع البحريني- حفلا بمناسبة مرور عام على تأسيسها.
تضمنت الفعالية عددا من الأنشطة، سعت من خلالها إلى تعريف الحضور بثقافة المجتمع الياباني وفنونه وآدابه. قدم أعضاء المجموعة ملخصا موجزا للكتب التي تم قراءتها خلال العام الماضي لمؤلفين يابانيين مشهورين كناتسوميه سوسيكي، هاروكي موراكامي وكازو ايشيجيرو، حيث قرأ الأعضاء ما يقارب ١٦ كتابا من الروايات والسير الذاتية المتعلقة باليابان وجارتيها كوريا والصين. تم تعريف الحضور بفن المانجا - الذي أصبح جزءا مهما من الثقافة اليابانية الحديثة ويشكل نسبة كبيرة من المادة المطبوعة في اليابان- كما تم التطرق إلى تاريخ تطور هذا الفن وأنواعه.
كما ناقشت إحدى المشاركات تجربتها في زيارة اليابان ضمن برنامج التبادل الثقافي المقدم من مؤسسة اليابان (معهد اللغة اليابانية - كانساي) ووضحت مدى الإستفادة التي حققتها في التعرف على المجتمع واللغة اليابانية. اختتم الحفل بورشة في عمل الاوريغامي فن طي الورق الياباني وورشة أخرى في الكتابة باللغة اليابانية إضافة إلى عرض لمجموعة من المقتنيات التاريخية اليابانية للأستاذ القدير حافظ عبد الغفار والتي أضفت لمسة غنية للفعالية. من الجدير بالذكر أن المجموعة أطلقت العدد الأول لمجلتها الإلكترونية والتي تشمل مختارات لمواضيع تم مناقشتها في المجموعة إضافة إلى ملخصات للكتب والأفلام التي تمت مطالعتها، كما نظمت دروس مبسطة للغة اليابانية على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي.
تهدف المجموعة في المستقبل للتعرف أكثر على تاريخ اليابان وشرق آسيا، وتأمل في التواصل مع المهتمين بالأدب والفن والثقافة اليابانية.
The 'Japanese Literature and Arts' group (which is part of "Bahraini Readers", a cultural and voluntary initiative that aims to encourage people to read in the Bahraini society) has celebrated their first year anniversary on Friday, 17th August 2018. This event had a wide variety of activities, whereby the culture of the Japanese society, its arts and literature had been introduced to the audience.
Several members of the group made a summary presentation regarding the books that they had read as a group throughout the past year where some of their readings were books written by prominent Japanese authors like Natsume Sōseki, Murakami Haruki And Kazuo Ishiguro.
"We've read 16 books that consisted primarily of novels and autobiographies about Japan and its neighbours, China and Korea", one of the members stated.
The audience were also introduced to a brief history of "The Art of Manga", its types and how it has become an important part in modern day Japanese culture, representing a great deal of its printed material.
One of the participants shared her wonderful experience in Japan through a cultural exchange program sponsored by the Japanese foundation (Japanese language institute Kansai). She also explained the length of benefits she acquired from learning about Japanese society and language throughout her marvelous journey.
The celebration was concluded on a rather crafty note with both origami and Japanese calligraphy workshops taking place, in addition to a collective display of rare Japanese antiquities by esteemed collector and owner of antiques and souvenirs, Mr. Hafidh A.Alghaffar, enriching the event and adding a cherry on top of its cake.
It must be acknowledged that the 'Japanese Literature and Arts' group have launched their very first e-magazine which includes selective topics that had been discussed among its members, alongside a summary of books and movies that they have watched.
Last but not least, simplified Japanese language lessons have been uploaded by the group on social media platforms for the benefit of interested members.
The group aims to further learn about the history of East Asia in general and Japan specifically and hope to collaborate with those interested in literature and arts within the Japanese culture.
